Problem

Parenting two kids in Austin means juggling activities, places to go, weekend plans, and a hundred micro-decisions every week. No single tool handled all of it — so I built one.

What I Built

Parenting Hub is a family command center that brings together weekend planning, activity scheduling, a curated database of 101 family-friendly places in Austin, and a parenting advisor chat powered by Claude. The weekend planner uses AI to generate activity ideas based on the weather, the kids' ages, and what community events are happening that weekend — pulling live data from local sources.

The app syncs with Google Calendar, tracks recurring activities, stores contacts for coaches and instructors, and includes an ideas board for capturing things we want to do eventually.
